Something tells me that most of you will be out and about enjoying the holiday. Eating too many hamburgers, enjoying one of those marshmallow and coconut salads that always makes an appearance this time of year, and waiting for nightfall so the sparklers can shine. Independence Day. This, in a sense, is appropriate because each of you has decided to take a rather independent stance when it comes to who and how you read. You’ve wandered from the mainstream to search out the lesser known author. You’ve also decided that the electronic book works just as well for you as a perfectly bound print book. We’re happy to have you among us. You are part of a growing number of voracious readers that has chosen to be different.
