Remember…

Today is Veteran’s Day in America. A day where we all take a moment to say thank you to those who were willing to give their lives for our country.

Some of my favorite books involve hot-blooded Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and/or Airmen ready to risk everything to save those they love. And if you mix this with my favorite genre: Sci Fi, I’m in heaven.

Why are so many of us in love (and lust) with thrilling adventure romance involving these delicious men? Is it the intense danger? The strong values of a man living by a combination of his service creed and his own rules? The idea that a man who would lay his life on the line for his country would also turn that same loyalty and belief to his lady?

Whatever it is, I’m hooked!
