Okay, what to post first? I guess since I have only the one LSB title out currently it'll have to be from Help! I'm Falling for the Vampire Next Door. Val stomped out of the dark, moonless shadows, grabbing Mel by the elbow as she approached the warehouse’s front door at half past eleven. “And what were you doing all this time riding in a limo?”

“Jealous?” Mel giggled. “It was nothing. Nothing at all. Shelby wanted me to schmooze with some bigwig client so he’d buy into the building. I think he will, too. Shel is going to be sooo pleased with me.”

Val’s nostrils flared. What was that stinking cologne she had on? It smelled like a man’s aftershave--an expensive, yet tawdry, man’s aftershave.
Mel reached into her purse and dropped her key then fumbled with the front door lock. “Oops! I think I’ve had too much to drink.”

“It appears so.” He picked up the key along with a matchbook that had fallen beside it. He gave a long whistle. “Whoa. That must have been some major player you had dinner with. You actually ate at the Adam’s Mark Hotel?”

“Well, yeah. He’s staying there for now.”

“Did you give him dessert upstairs afterward?”

She frowned. “Just what are you implying? Oh, that I... No, no. He was a gentleman. A very handsome, very rich and well-connected gentleman. There was no hanky-panky whatsoever. I think.”

“You think?”

The fires within him roared. Val grimaced and clenched his fists at his sides. Another had staked claim to one of his own. That man must die and die horribly. Instinctively his canines grew, forcing him to turn back into the shadows.

IT'S DONE... The first draft, that is, of the sequel to HELP! I'M FALLING FOR THE VAMPIRE NEXT DOOR. At last!

Now, the "fun" part begins--rewrites!

The scoop? It has a lot of sex scenes--some very wild and hot and some downright unsual sex scenes dealing with aliens and large groups of people. Should I keep them in the second draft or cut some/all of them out? Should I post a few of them here? You decide!

And I'm told that I can't have another long title like "Vampire Next Door" has. How do I create a similar title if I can't have more than 25 characters and spaces? (It's the second book in the series with overlapping characters, so I did want them to be similarly titled.) Help!

We've got a time traveler for the hero. Can you think of a worthy title? I'll put your name on the dedication page if you do.

The series right now is "The Paranormal Lovers of St. Louis" series...

Book one was Mel's story Help! I'm Falling for the Vampire Next Door (which wins the prize for longest LSB title ever!)

Book two (just starting the second draft) is Shelby's story where she meets and falls for a time traveler (who knows all about Vampires--we'll figure out the how and why in the third book). My tentative title is Hey I'm Hanging with a Time Surfer. I thought about cutting the first two words and just calling it "Hanging with a Time Surfer".

Yeah, I come up with some pretty lame titles, don't I?

The idea for book three is an invisible alien for the hero. A very horny invisible alien and an up-tight heroine he helps loosen up a bit... No titles ideas for it yet at this point.

But think, in the future we'll probably be able to talk to our computers and they will handle the "difficult" tasks like coding and programming with just a few verbal instructions.
