Should I have stayed in bed?

Carpets shampooed. Check. Slippers got wet. <<sad face>>. Put slippers on top of furnace to dry. Caught slippers on fire. Now I know what that funky smell in the kitchen was. Melting purple fuzz.

I truly believe that it is slippers and fabric softener which elevate humans to a state above the microbes in dirt. I am now without a pair of slippers. Since I can't wear fabric softener on my feet, I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy a new pair. Do slippers come in asbestos?

LMAO, Darr. Your poor purple fluffies. I hope you find another pair.

You forgot beer. Where's the point in kicking back in a nice pair of slippers and super-softie gear if there isn't a beer involved?

Glad to hear you don't seem to have spilled the beer, I like your sense of priority.

Beer. Yes. I would never spill my beer, nor would I burn it. Of course if I had too much beer I might try doing something odd with fabric softener...
