Hi Everyone!
I am so excited to be on board with LSB.  After reading some of your bios, I see how much authors really do have in common. I'm another singer-turned-writer. Looking back at my life, I should have known I would end up here. My sisters and I walked ten blocks to the library every Saturday morning and picked up some books for the week. I started writing poems first. When I was ten, my first story was about a ten year-old girl in the Elizabethan era. Go figure  When I was older, I spent a couple hundred dollars at Barnes & Noble and my mother looked at me like I was crazy. I couldn't deny it - I just had to read (but I became sort of a closet-book-buyer after that). Now I know I was preparing for the future. I realized I had a singing voice when I was fifteen. Song writing was next, singing with local bands and soon I just knew I was going to be the next singing sensation. Then life happened: marriage, my son and a REAL job as a risk manager, which I had planned to do 'just until I make it' as the next Celine Dion! So, here I am over a decade later, a shower-singer (the enclosed tile room is almost as good as a studio mike), still managing risk, proud mama to a too- smart-for-his-own-good teenager  and happier than I've been in a long time because Falcon's Angel comes out on May 28th!
