The Halls of Power

“Power of the Press” introduces us to Congresswoman Maggie Tsolis, a woman with a secret, her relationship with reporter Dylan Carter. Nothing in Washington stays secret very long, though, and when their relationship becomes public, Maggie has to decide which is more important to her, her responsibilities to her constituents or the man she’s become so connected to.

Not yet. I've finished doing the editing, so I guess now it's waiting for final review and the cover art (SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!) It's the waiting that's the hardest part!

Hi Philippa,
I saw your name as an author on the Linden Bay Romance site. I was wondering how it was to work with them? I submitted a synopsis and first chapter and they just requested the full manuscript. Since I have only worked in the YA market and in print in the past and am currently not published in the romance or e-book area, I thought I could use all the advice I could get.

Got any words of wisdom to share?

I really like them. Even though they're a new publisher, they are really dedicated to putting out a good product, and they've been really supportive of me as I've been learning the marketing side. Barb, their managing editor, is a really lovely woman, and you should have a good experience working with her.
