Her shop is community and kindred spirit to all those seeking magic and mayhem. As long as she’s paid in cash or credit (no checks, please), Salem doesn’t care if her customers smell like an open grave or Chanel Number Five.

A lucrative side-business, Salem’s Fine Collection of Sins also houses objets pour réjouir les sens—historical naughty bits favored by the wealthy well-heeled ladies from town. Jillian Welch, daughter of a mere mister, is set to marry to the powerful and rumored-to-be-evil Earl of Evansdale. What few people know is Jillian is a witch. What Jillian doesn't know is her fiance is a powerful warlock who needs to take her virginity to gain power. The earl's brother, Colin Donegal, learns of the plan and will go to any length to stop this from happening since he alone knows how evil his brother truly is.

Jillian, primed and ready for the marriage bed after months of watching her Coven's mating rituals, is overcome with attraction for the young lord. But Colin has a secret of his own...he's a shapeshifter.

Yeppers, X will be hitting Mike's and my neck of the woods this weekend for GenCon. yes, downtown Indianapolis, Indiana is due to be invaded by Klingons, Manga/Anime characters and other assorted strange dudes and dudettes. Wonder what costume X wears? Hmmmm?

GenCon is the largest grossing convention that Indianapolis hosts -- so it says in the very amusing article written in Indianapolis Monthly by a guy who hung with a team of gamers last year. I snorted out loud several times as this author described the geeks and nerds and their almost non-stop gaming -- and what did they stop for? Not food. But Sex!!!

Yes, GenCon is a giant love-in for these gaming afficianados. Makes me want to go downtown and people watch this weekend.

Blame my absence on the fact that my son just turned five and my brains are dribbling out my ears.

"Hounded"

When a Lunar mining accident trapped Lin Itoh and her fellow miners, she
never expected the Moon goddess she prayed to to actually come to her
aid. The simple bargain she made with Diana to find one of the Lady's
"Hounds" gone astray goes sour when Lin discovers the Hound is actually
the hot stranger she just had sex with, and he had very good reasons
for running from his mistress.

Lin's attempt to fulfill her bargain gets more complicated when she
discovers just how much of mankind's mythology came with them to the
stars. And to keep the inner solar system from erupting into chaos,
Lady's Hound Rex and his Packmate Max must show Lin that their animal
instincts are exactly what she needs to heal the ailing Moon goddess and
her own remote heart.
