Rachel worries about the cottage cheese thighs, but I'm more worried about showing off all the varicose veins myself. That and the surgical scars and stretchmarks. Still, they are a reminder that you've lived and come out a few hairy situations fairly intact--so they are something to be proud of really the more I think about it.

AJ--they'd want to photograph you in your kilt. With that skein du thingy.

Have I posed nude before? Uh, not with 17,999 other people, but yes. It was an artistic photo you could say...No one has asked me to pose that way ever since, either.

Oh, and last summer I accidentally (no really, it was an accident) stumbled upon a gay nude beach. It's not that far from the clothed beach and it's not like there are signs warnng you. All of a sudden BAM, everyones nekkid!!

Okay, the next probing question is, "Have you ever sunbathed in the nude?" Why or why not?

My answer is "no" since I don't sunbathe. I did a bit as a teenager, but that was before they lopped off a couple of moles and told me to keep the sunblock , long sleeves and hat on as much as possible outdoors.

But confess, y'all... How many of you hate those "strap lines"

I don't sunbathe much -- clothed or naked. My skin's already got a naturally golden tan color to it because I'm mostly southeast Asian (specifically Filipina, with a bit of Spanish, English, and German thrown in), and when I sunbathe, I just get a darker shade of a browner tan that I don't particularly like.

And yeah, what's the benefits of risking skin cancer to look more "cosmetically beautiful" in the eyes of the culture? I look at some of these women who are "tan addicts" and I think, "Wow, she's fifty-five and she dresses like her teenager." Then I find out the woman is 35 and that's her little sister and not her daughter with her.

Okay, that's the next question on the "nude" thread:

If you were invited to a nude beach by a good friend would you:

1) Say "No thanks" and politely decline the offer.
2) Go, but have a lot of reservations and end up wearing your swim suit anyway.
3) Go native and have a grand time in the surf in the buff.

Okay, I want your HONEST answers here people. There will be a test later... Uh, yeah, I guess not. (But we may come and visit you at your nude beach and sing the "song" with you.)

I'm a "No thanks" on the trip to the nude beach. The only time I like going to the beach is when I have a camera in hand, and I doubt the nude beach-goers will go for that.
