I have "new" cards to try out!

I bought them 11 years ago in Iceland, but have never really given them a whirl.

I could use some volunteers....

I'll volunteer, Darr. Nothing really in particular to ask.

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

Hey Darr!
Happy New Year, Merry Christmas, and all that jazz....
I'll volunteer for a reading with your new cards (pretty please with pudding on top!)
I would like to know if there will be work for me this year or if I need to put my money in a ziplock in the freezer once again. Actually, it would be nice if you could tell me I'm going to win the lottery and be filthy rich (daydreaming).

P.S. I really enjoyed the Orca King (yes, it is a private part favorite)! Thanks for the suggestion. Paula

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

Me, please?

The last reading you gave me was so completely on-target I was speechless. You hit it all so well and the advice was perfect. You were right, btw. Thank you.

This time round my question is ... I'm mulling over a professional question. I don't know whether or not this is the right time to make a move or not. Do the "new" cards see anything pertaining to that little quandry?

Thanks so much.

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

I was down and out with illness for several days. Sorry about the delay.

Marisa: It is time for you to clean! Get a physical, go to the dentist and straighten up your closet. Every card I pulled for you is about "cleansing changes." You apparently have something very special in the wings, and you need to "be fresh of mind, body and environment" when this event unfolds.

Rusty: Changes...if you do make a change, you will be almost too protected to see any results right away. You're going to have to release your grip from that sword, baby! You're going to hurt someone! Great beginnings and great endings are the same thing. Your professionalism--no matter where you are or what profession you choose--is going to go with you. You are the one that will make the difference where you're at, or in what you're doing. It's okay to trust someone...just a little Now, put your sword away!

Quat/Paula: You got some cool cards...and since I've never really used this deck before, they're new to me in many ways. You got a solstice card. A money card (energy) and a destiny card. I read these as you should, indeed, squirrel some money away from the return of the sun. However, you will have work this year and it will come in "threes." Three lucrative jobs, one after the other. You're going to find successes after winter passes. Hooray!

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

Darragha,

Thanks so much! Your reading makes a lot of sense, especially the trusting part. I have issues with that, lol. I guess I'd best loosen up some!

I hope you're feeling better. Sorry to hear you were under the weather.

Again, thank you. I appreciate your doing this for me.

I could use a few more takers. These "new" cards need some more breaking in

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

I'll bite.

My question has to do with a project I have in mind that has nothing to do with the usual stuff like covers, web sites, or crochet. I've been thinking about it for a long while now, and I wonder if it will remain one of those things I just think about or if I will ever buckle down this year and just do it. Actually, this might apply to more than one thing -- one is more physical; the other is more mental. But they're both just things I think about, start off doing, then abandon as soon as I hit a little difficulty.

Will I or won't I this year? And will I follow through and finish/continue it? Should I even bother?

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

All the readings I've done so far are with the deck I know like the back of my own hand. They "sing" to me. My new deck is just starting to "talk," yanno?

I'll do a few more readings tomorrow. I'm writing now and I'd better get back to it before I get totally sidetracked.

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

April: it's your destiny to procrastinate! not really...it is your destiny to complete one of your goals--but it won't be immediately. You need to step outside your comfort zone and that is such a pain in the ass to have to do. Once you do, you will succeed and the results will bring you abundance (in whichever form you need at the time).

Any time, Jeanne.

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

LOL ... I got the answer I deserved. I'll reach my goal if I do something about it.

I was hoping to get an easy answer where all I have to do is sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor, without actually having to labor.

But I'm glad that at least I'll actually get there instead of only halfway there, as I nearly always seem to do.

Thanks, Darr!

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

Persephoneate: assuming you mean a manuscript...

The overview looks good. In fact, the card is "soaring overview" so I'd say: hooray. You must have strength as you progress with this matter. Awareness of the system is going to be a royal pain in the ass, but you'll work it, and achieve your goal.

Darr, you've done a couple of readings for me so I didn't want to ask. But if you're still looking for takers...

Can you do a "general" reading or do you need me to ask something more specific?

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

Hey Darr!
Thanks for the awesome cards! You were bang-on right--I already have two very lucrative jobs offers and a third just starting to show it's face.

The first job is a very coveted position at my workplace, but I think I'll pass on this one (the atmosphere isn't what I'm looking for). The second job is with someone I trust and admire and would be the working environment I have been looking for. This second job will lead me to the third job, a very lucrative business of my own, and EXACTLY what I've been waiting for.

Hopefully we won't have a federal election before things are set in motion, and I will have the work (and money) I need, but I'll put the plastic baggie back in my freezer just in case! Paula.

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

Nina: through your personal sacrifices (of time for anything but your writing, I believe) you are going to embrace a new found light of life and have some major abundance. Major.

Re: I have "new" cards to try out!

All I can say is the "new" cards are really positive. They don't "sing" to me the way the old ones do (which I why I'm offering two readings for the price of one on my tarot blog). I need to use them many, many more times to "break them in."
