Other than the "yellows" or jaundice, he's doing OK. I'm awake at 12:30 a.m. (a rarity) because I just did some special Buddhist prayers for him.
Back to bed now...

The horse is improving.
He's lost some weight and until he's 100% we can't give him bulky foods like alfalfa. He's on local hay and green grass and a handful of grain mixed with canola oil (to add calories). Oh, and horses live to eat, so he's not happy with us. Other than not wanting to do anything but eat, he's being a good boy. I brushed him out today and took him for a walk around the stable. I had my daughter quit her job at the stable today. Too much drama. She worked there for 18 months. It was getting really bad. She was singing happy songs in the truck as we drove home. Her boss said she didn't have to do the "two weeks notice" thing. Thank goodness. Our horse is safe there--but I'm glad my kid won't be working there any longer. Now...where does a 16 year old whose only job has been as a stable hand find work? Thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes for my pony. He's going to be fine! Darr
